Level 1 - Living on Live Food Chef Certification Course (4 Hours)

This course is the fundamental course that will teach you the basics of the raw food diet through the teachings of the Living on Live Food plan.

This course will take place in the beautiful holistic health and wellness center, Simple Balance, in Maynard, Massachusetts.  We have our own warm and inviting kitchen and group room with couches and chairs where you can get comfortable while you learn.  In doing our part to be environmentally friendly, we use organic ingredients (local when possible), served in an eco-friendly manner.

¨   How to make delicious raw food meals that taste like your favorite cooked dishes!
¨   How to prepare gourmet, raw food meals, simply and easily.
¨
   How to shop for raw foods
¨   How to stock your kitchen and set up your environment 
¨   How to get others excited about raw and living food!
¨
   Delicious, gourmet raw food meals included.
¨   How to teach a raw food prep course.

You will leave this class not only inspired and motivated but knowing how to begin eating raw and how to make delicious raw food meals for yourself and others.

You will receive your Level 1 - Living on Live Food Chef Certificate which allows you to teach Raw Food Prep Courses and to continue on to the next level of the Living on Live Food training.

Level 2 - Living on Live Food Instructor Certification Course (2 Day Class)

This course is designed to go beyond the basic food prep and into more extensive raw food preparation. 

This course will take place in the beautiful holistic health and wellness center, Simple Balance, in Maynard, Massachusetts.  We have our own warm and inviting kitchen and group room with couches and chairs where you can get comfortable while you learn.  In doing our part to be environmentally friendly, we use organic ingredients (local when possible), served in an eco-friendly manner.

Our goal is that everyone have an opportunity to learn and grow when taking this course.  We take breaks throughout the day from the food prep to not only energize you, but to teach you complimentary tools that go well with a healthy raw and living food lifestyle.  This may include things like, talking a walk around the pond across the street, doing a stretching exercise indoors, having an introductory session on EFT to give you a tool to deal with emotions that may arise when people detoxify from eating raw and living foods, a simple breathing exercise or some other activity to enhance your experience.

From this course you will be proficient in preparing elegant gourmet meals.  In addition to the food preparation this course will cover:

¨      How to encourage and help people stay raw.
¨
     Issues dealing with daily raw food living such as environment, friends 
    and family, and traveling while raw.

¨      People's experience while raw.
¨
      Detoxing (emotionally and physically)
¨   Basic sprouting techniques and simple dehydration 
¨   Raw food product demonstration
¨   Enjoy all of the delicious gourmet meals prepared.
¨   How to teach a Level 1 Living on Live Foods Course

From this course you will be recognized as an Alissa Cohen Certified Living on Live Food Instructor and will be able to teach individuals and groups in the art of food preparation and the raw food lifestyle.
