The idea behind the green smoothie adventure is to have at least one 16 ounce green smoothie a day for 21 days.  You will receive a daily e- mail for 21 days with green smoothie recipes, health tips and information. You will also have access to the Green Smoothie Adventure Message Board. This is where you can ask questions, share successes and challenges and connect with others on the Green Smoothie Adventure too.

What is a green smoothie?

Take any fresh greens you like and blend them with fruit and water. Green Smoothies are so easy to make and taste fabulous.

Greens are incredibly nutritious, however people struggle to get enough of them into their diet and often find them hard to digest. Green Smoothies are easy to digest. Nutrients are absorbed quickly and easily.

Adding fruit in your green smoothie makes them taste great and it is also a clever way of getting a lot of fruit into your diet along with the greens.

Those who start adding green smoothies in to their diets soon notice a change in how they feel and are often surprised by the health benefits that go along with their new habit. Raw food eaters in particular have embraced this nutritional powerhouse to boost their already nutritious diet, and to find that missing element to achieving excellent health and vitality.

But like everything I teach I don't want you to take my word for it, I want you to experience it for yourself! That is why I created the "21 Day Green Smoothie Adventure". I want you to experience how great green smoothies can be for your health.

I LOVED the GSC! It was really great for me in many ways. I really had more energy and really felt balanced most days. Also all of my physical cravings and most of my "mental ones" disappeared. It was funny because I wasn't even watching for that but just noticed it one day. Sometimes it felt like extra work(usually when it was a stressful family day) because I was the one making them for the five of us but most of the time I felt like it took no time at all. I need to be honest and say there were a few days that I didn't make them but I'm really proud of how well I did in general. I feel so good about what it's been doing for our bodies and it's definitely a part of our lives now- thanks Kelly!

I loved doing the green smoothie challenge!  I took a break last week to do a cleanse  and yesterday I came back and made the mojito smoothie- sooo good! I love having all of your recipes and will save them to make smoothies as much as possible.  The daily emails that you sent were very helpful and inspiring and the daily green smoothies at the beginning of the month made doing my cleanse last week easy

I think I had a small detox reaction starting on day 5- my skin breaking out, which is unusual for me. But on a much more positive note, I am _shocked_ to find that my sugar cravings are gone. I know this is supposed to be one of the benefits of the smoothies, but as I eat fairly healthy even without the smoothies, I didn't think this would apply as much to me. I was really convinced that my sugar cravings were simply the result of a sweet tooth- all about the taste- and not something my body was signaling for. But I've been around plenty of sweets over the past few days and none of them have invoked the usual, must-have-it-now reaction. I am not consciously trying to avoid sweets or talk myself out of them- my body just seems to say "eh- not in the mood for that."  My similarly sweet-toothed coworker who is doing the challenge with me is experiencing the same reduction in cravings- we are both thrilled!

Although I did not have a goal when I began the GSC other than to simply try to drink a green smoothie each day, I now feel that I would like to continue to do this as a lifetime change. I don't know how I will ultimately feel but it feels good just knowing that I am getting my 5 every day at least. I'm hoping that this is just the first tiny stepping stone to better overall healthy choices!

My kids and I did this challenge together and we are really happy so far! They feel better because they are getting a lot more than the 5 a day that we struggled with before. Also, they feel better because they drink a green smoothie before catching the bus for school...more brain fuel! Our fave so far is blueberry, strawberry, banana and spinach. It is actually a purple smoothie!

To put it lightly, my body and mind feel strong and sharp, and I noticed my cravings diminish throughout the day whenever I had 20 oz or more of smoothie for breakfast. I will continue to have smoothies even though the challenge is over!

I think the challenge is great and I'm doing very well with it. I think at this point if I didn't have my green smoothie I would really miss it! I am also really enjoying reading about everyone elses journey, recipes etc.

I love parsley but only ever had it as a sprig on a plate with something else. I loved it in a blender. It was a real eye opener. I love the ease of making a smoothie - and the shopping is easy, too. It got me to try things I might not have tried - like green smoothies in general.

Even though I have been doing smoothies since January, giving up tea and wine and doubling my smoothies, I detoxed as much as I did back in January. I had headaches the first couple of days, then sore throat, runny nose, and cough for a few days, and muscle aches in my hips and thighs. I also had fewer aches and pains overall, my brain got even sharper than it had been from doing smoothies
